I worked at Children Of America

    Pros

The highlight of working in the childcare industry are the children and the families you meet.

    Cons

This was hands down the worst company that I have ever had the misfortune to work for. Management was concerned more about the bottom line: money. They wanted to get as many children in a room to maximize profit. They spent little time on training staff to ensure that children were safe, taken care of and engaged in learning experiences. The company likes to make it appear as though they care about educating students. If they did, they would spend more time ensuring teachers were given proper time to lesson plan and not be overwhelmed by a large amount of kids in their classrooms. There is little to no room for raises for teachers. The company even took away health benefits from teachers. Management and staff is often left stressed and overwhelmed by a unrealistic expectations created by coporate.
