    I have been working at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles full-time (more than 3 years)


    Great entry level opportunities depending on which department/division you are in.

    Some clincial leaders are outwardly supportive of their administrative support.


    Match contribution program is not comparable to market. Standard vested program.

    Unfortunately administrative managers play favorites with support staff. Unfounded/unsubstantiated complaints make their way to HR and ultimately leave a poor reflection across all of CHLA (with regard to low-to-mid level operations & administration and managers thereof).

    Training for administration, especially external resources, are not widely supported and opportunities are rare.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Cultural transformation and cultural champion efforts are not effective. It is unfortunate that you champion and advocate as if you live-and-breath it but in actuality, you do not. This is where a lot of company resources are being wasted or squandered.
