I have been working at ChinaSoft International (More than a year)
This review is actually about Chinasoft. (they merged with Catapult, but cultures may still differ.) I was at assignment at Microsoft through Chinasoft. In those cases, it is standard to have very little interaction between employee and employer, besides receiving the paycheck, which they always did on time. One advantage of such assignments is that there is no overtime.
When I needed new hardware, they told me that they were under extreme budget constraints, and I had to buy it myself. In another case, when I contacted the account manager regarding a work issue, I got no reply.
Advice to Management
This is a line of business where employees are just expected to perform, like electricity. There are many similar agencies, and if their differences just boil down to costs, then it's understandable that there's no money for caring for employees.
