Current Employee - Manufacturing Intern in Detroit, MI
Current Employee - Manufacturing Intern in Detroit, MI

I have been working at Chrysler full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

I got to learn a lot about cars and how to manufacture them. Being in an assembly plant is awesome, and just being in a production setting has given me lots of exposure.

    Cons

Long work hours and expected to stay overtime. The assembly plant is also really big, so there'll be a lot of walking. There is also too much politics between union and management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please listen to production better. Please try not so hard to meet quotas and view people more than numbers.
