    I worked at Cintas full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Interaction with customers and not pinned to a desk sometimes.

    Cons

    Service Manager should be renamed Sales Manager, the description of the position does not reflect the true nature of the position.
    There's a bottleneck in upward movement, there are only so many locations in the rental division, with each location having 1-4 Service Managers. Multiply that by the number of locations (around 300), you have up to 1200 competitors for positions that may come open 1-2 times per year. This is not a position for anyone with aspirations to become someone with this company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Doesn't matter, this is a purely a numbers driving company, there's a point where efficiency become detrimental and this one of those examples. Pay people appropriately for the work you require of them.
