    Pros

There are a few reasons to work here--mainly, its the work from home option. But never expect a promotion, never expect a pay raise. Everyone just pretends all is well...until you get hit with annual review.

    Cons

The main problem is that you would think there are internal secret training documents--there exist no such thing. Also, you are expected to do everything on your own. Training--on your own. In fact, there really is NO training except for the 1st New Hire training for NCE's. This company also has had 4 layoffs in the past 4 years. So, there is no stability. 8000+ people were laid off, this round.

    Advice to Management

Fire yourselves. Most are sucking the company dry. Fire John Chambers. CEO since when? 1986? A $50 mil private jet? A billionaire CEO? And the stock price is what? Cisco has basically been dying as a company since 2000. There is no new innovation, the lack of real talent is palpable and really has fled the gates for better, more dynamic companies. Look at Arista for how to run a real company.
