I worked at Cisco Systems full-time (more than 5 years)

Great education and training. Good benefits.

Culture is very office-specific and the Bellevue office was horrible. It looked like a white-men-only golf club full of rich, conservative, 50-somethings. If that doesn't describe you, be prepared for discrimination. I had bigoted coworkers target me with slander in the office and to my clients. I saw the same thing happen to others who didn't fit the mold.

Career advancement was minimal if you're not at HQ in San Jose and getting ahead usually involved pushing others down rather than elevating everyone. Avoid this office.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a serious look at the local culture in Bellevue.
