    The best reasons to work at Citizens at the branch level are the colleagues, the customers, and the benefits. Most colleagues contribute to the team at the branch level. Most customers are pleasant and appreciate good service. The company has an excellent benefit plan including healthcare,matching 401K, shopping/entertainment discounts. Extensive training for new hires, and monthly training modules.


    Challenges include the inconsistencies in how each branch is managed in terms of adherence to bank operational policies, communications between managers and bankers/tellers, and managerial styles. Compensation is inconsistent across similar/same job titles.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Branch managers and assistant managers NEED management training, especially communications and interpersonal relationship skills.
