    I worked at Citrix Systems full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Free MSDN Fruits and sandwiches Flexible working hours Can work from home quite frequently Some good colleagues

    Cons

    Weak senior leadership, i.e. Directors, VP's. Old boys clubs Political agenda's of Citrix lifers get in the way of technical projects People who are in certain circles spend too much time gossiping and planning the downfall of others. Citrix has a policy of retaining the most incompetent senior leadership for years in the UK at least. There are some good people in HR but some bad as well, some of them are the senior leaderships pets.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on your employees not yourselves, you are easily replaceable whereas your employees are not. HR should closely evaluate the senior leadership's people skills as some of them treat staff badly, HR should also be evaluated by someone else as HR turns a blind eye to some bad incidents that occur at Citrix.
