I worked at City National Bank of Oklahoma full-time
You start off with great training and there are some great people who work at the retail level. Great bankers and most of the branch managers were fantastic.
The high pressure sales. They're constantly on you to make quotas. The pay was definitely not worth the stress. Most tellers I know made more money doing a lot less than the retail bankers were expected to accomplish. Open on holidays that most banks are closed. Which leaves you and your crew bored, unmotivated, and annoyed. Plus all day on your feet. Just wasn't worth it!
Advice to Management
Relax with the quotas and raise the pay. The turnover is so high because there is no motivation to stay when most employees are constantly stressed and struggling to make ends meet.
