I have been working at College Board

    Pros

    -Great benefit
-Good pay for a non-profit educational organization
    -Committed, hard-working colleagues
    -Opportunity for advancement

    Cons

-The regional office has a completely different atmosphere, which stems from a having a poor Vice President in place
    -Low morale
-Work/life balance not encouraged; for Educational Managers PTO is discouraged
-Strong emphasis on 'getting the sale'
    -Incompetent leadership leading the departments
    -Favoritism

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    -Support your staff
    -Communicate
-Offer more job opportunities in the regions
-Focus less on selling and more on promoting our mission
-Take a good hard look at senior level management and VP's - are they leading in an ethical manner?
