Once this was a terrific place to work but way too many changes to policies and personnel.

I worked at College of American Pathologists full-time for more than 10 years

Great salaries and benefits. Most areas within the College support flexible work schedules. There are still a good number of great people (mostly the ones that have been there a long time).

HR Department is horrible - do not expect any support if you should have an issue with a manager or co-worker. Policies are or aren't enforced depending on which area you work in. Employee moral is really, really low and a good majority of employees are just waiting it out until the current CEO leaves. There is a small group of "rah rah" employees but only because they happen to be the CEO's "flavor(department) of the year". Pride Principles are shoved down employees' throats but practically no senior management follow them. Environment went from friendly and hard working to a consultant mentality of being overworked, vast burnout and rewarding only the senior management. Very, very few actual promotions occur and those that do are usually due to politics and not the candidate's qualifications or skills.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop pushing values that you yourselves do not follow. Replace your entire HR department - most employees have no faith or respect for them. Go back to the environment that was is place a couple of years ago - employees were happier and much more productive.
