    I have been working at Columbia Sussex full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    Truly, truly, there aren't any. Even if you take the job merely for what may be seen as benefits or perks like better hours if you took a Sales Role or the chance to learn a new skill as someone without the experience needed for the position the cons far outweigh the pros. The extreme disorganization that stems from the upper management in the corporate office and lack of leadership on all levels will impede any real learning from taking place and lead to a horrible work environment.

    Cons

    The company is absolutely un-ethical and completely mismanaged. They seem to enjoy swindling both employees and guests and haven't the foggiest clue what the meaning of Hospitality is or how to offer it to anyone. They flat out lie. Get everything in writing. From the top, management is at best unqualified and leadership is simply non-existent. Please do not waste your time thinking, oh well, I am sure it isn't that bad. It is.
