    I have been working at Columbia Technology Corp as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

    Only possible pro would be the fact that you learn how a company SHOULD NOT operate and you learn what a truly horrible boss/manager is and you can steer away similar negative people afterwards.

    Cons

    I don't know where to start. A boiler room environment without any of the possible success. The president gets off on yelling at his employees to constantly make calls without providing any useful input, training or simple guidance besides "pick up the phone and call" and gets infuriated when somehow, all of his junior recruiters that started last week and will probably leave in 3 months can't make any placements or even get a person to stay on the phone. Most recruiters are extremely junior (less than a year recruiting or just straight out of college) because he makes promises of fortune and success that of course never happens (you are actually taking step backwards in your career working here, since he'll try to give you the lowest salary possible first). Daily meetings where he feeds his own ego by insulting his employees and asking why they aren't making any profits. Seen way more kick outs than actual placements, most likely because the president scares away the candidate once someone actually gets an interview and close to placement. Since he doesn't trust anyone, he insists on taking the candidates away from the recruiter after a certain point, and then blames the candidate when the deal falls through. Speaking of no trust, cameras all over the office to watch you and spyware on your computer to read your personal email. No basic human rights, work through holidays and weekends, always gives grief if god forbid you actually need to take a day off for any reason, states hour lunch on contract but blows up if you take more than 15 minutes, end of day meetings last well past 7PM, the list goes on.

    Literally, the worst decision you can make to your career, sanity and health working here.

    Can't wait for the "company" to finally close its doors.
