    I have been working at CommVault (more than an year)

    Pros

    I have worked at CommVault for just over a year and it is a very nice place to work. The culture is very much one where you do what needs to be done to resolve things for the customer. This may not suit everybody, and if you are looking for a place to “hide” then this company is not for you.
    The company have a very clear vision and a good management team in place to action this plan. At all times it feels like the management are trying to help you grow and develop. There are many opportunities to further your career within your team or potentially within other teams. The company seems to have a culture of employee the right people and find the role that works for all.
    In my time I have seen very little negative. Yes people work hard, but you are rewarded for your work financially and with recognition. CommVault feels like a company that is going places, customers love the “can do” attitude and it sets us apart from the larger competition.

    Cons

    The negative side of CommVault for some would be the working hours. Personally I have never found this an issue, but some may. If you want to switch off half way through a job then this is not the place for you. You will often work past your end time, but then the next day you will have much less pressure. It is give and take, so I have never found it an issue. The company is growing fast so various teams do get pressure as more customers come on board, but this is quickly resolved with head count.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    My advice to management is to keep doing what you are doing. You need to have people that fit the culture and are willing to go that extra mile to help a customer. Keep informing the workers what the big plans are, head counts, new teams, new initiatives etc. An informed workforce can buy into the vision and some areas do this very well, but not every team may be as lucky as I am.
