I worked at Commonwealth Bank of Australia full-time (more than 3 years)

Large company, good chance of internal moves. Dealing with new technology. Good experience working in a real time 24/7 environment where seconds of downtime matter

Had no real issues, until I asked for flexible working conditions. With a change of management this was rejected even though the former managers would of been happy. My particular job went down hill from here suddenly receiving a terrible performance review from a manager that had only been in the job for two months. No support in the company for issues with management other then gong to the next level of management who just weren't interested in HR issues. After 4 years of good service I ended up resigning, with not even a 'thanks for your time' from my manager or manager once removed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Senior management need to think twice about who they put in charge of teams and what their people skills are like. I was in a critical role performing my job happily and in a few months hated working there and was basically "managed" out of the position with unfair performance reviews and an aggressive manager who has that entire team on the edge of going down the same path. If someone raises a workplace grievance maybe take it seriously?
