    CCA took on more than it could handle and burned many loyal staff out. Lacking bench-strength at senior management level

    I worked at Commonwealth Care Alliance full-time (more than 3 years)


    Awesome mission. Good paid time off, health insurance, flexible work schedules in some areas. There were some really dedicated, smart, loyal staff.


    Lots of silos. Multiple teams working on the same project, not knowing about each other. Decisions related to systems conversions made by high level staff without input from SME's. Severe lack of communication from above and cross-functionally. Finger pointing rampant.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Time for serious changes at the executive team level. CCA needs savvy managers, not the old crowd. Listen and act. Change culture of keep your mouth shut and head down or "duck and cover." Accept new ideas and stop saying "we've always done it this way."
