I worked at CompSource Oklahoma State full-time (More than 5 years)
You have a job. The insurance allowance is good because they pay for you and your family but not sure if that will be the same once it's not a state agency. Retirement isn't as great as they claim. If you leave you can't take it with you. You are either 100% vested (after 7.5 years) or 0% vested. Ridiculous!
Very, very low pay especially for the amount of work, raises are few and far between unless you are in management (take a look at the public records!), management would rather hire new employees with zero experience than promote the employees that have been working there for years.
Advice to Management
Promote those that deserve it from within the company before hiring someone with no experience with a degree. There are employees in lower positions with degrees too! It hurts morale when you keep hiring people for positions that current employees are over-qualified for! Relax with the dress code! There is too much micro-management in some areas but none in others. Pay more attention to who is actually doing a good job and not the person you think looks the best. Quit buying new equipment when you say there is no room for raises especially when you (management) are getting raises. I'd rather pay my bills than have bigger monitors. The others worked just fine, by the way!
