Adequate to start IT support career, but don't trust your luck if you plan to stay.

Decent benefits, and depending on the individual you can get assigned a good manager. Training is plentiful, if you can get approved for it. Flexible with PTO.

Contrary to the company's self assessment of technicians recognition, technicians are invisible. Rare postings, if any, of technicians contributions to customer service and satisfaction. Management and Sales receive most recognition. Increased compensation encouraged more by the number and quality of customers you can direct to the company. School reimbursement is skimpy and the approval process is a hassle. You may get enough to payment for 1 or 2 classes for 1 full year.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Put more value in your techs, stop stringing them along with just enough to peak their interest that only lead to disappointment. Pay advances should be more frequent and competitive. Believe me, they're not, they right at average. Any company and have average. Techs can only base their assessment of Compucom on benefits, compensation and what they are allowed to see. Based on the majority of the posted reviews here, this particular posting doesn't stand alone.
