Hard to believe so much money is spent on Marketing countering honestly terrible reviews.

I worked at Computer Generated Solutions full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

People! People that only want to be treated like human beings but aren't. If someone lasts longer than a year, you can make good relationships with others that are as miserable as you in the job.

    Cons

Not sure where to begin. As the Marketing department continues to turn over and increase in size to manage social media, the other areas of the business continue to suffer. Think of every Dilbert strip you've seen, every bad experience and bad boss you've ever had, every story of the worst company and policies you've heard of and that's THIS company. I have seen good people humiliated in public by the CEO, in big meetings, in front of their team. The CEO treats people like something to be used and thrown away when he tires of you, regardless of your value to his business. The people there less than 3 years are dying to make that 3 year mark so they can leave. If you can get out with your dignity in tact, do it. The CEO micro manages every aspect of the business. A VP can't approve an order for a $30 headset without the CEO signing for it after he grills you as to why so many headsets are being used by a call center outsourcing company. Seriously! Senior management lies to him just to be able to get their jobs done and add a little value to their team members. The CEO barely know what's going on because everyone keeps anything from him that might make him humiliate or threaten you in public, which he does frequently. Extremely expensive health care benefits, bonus and vacation policy that is a joke. Businesses in the 50's operated this way. I keep referring to this company as a business because that's exactly what it is. It's P. Friedman's business, NOT a real company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sell the business to a company that is actually interested in leveraging good people into becoming so much more.
