    I have been working at Con Edison Solutions full-time for more than 5 years


    Schedule flexibility because no managers care if you are there or not; short commute; benefit from reputation of Con Edison; stability of the parent company.


    1. Salaries do not commensurate with experience; 2. Managers have no concept of leading a team successfully; 3. Absolutely NO career development/advancement opportunities; 4. Very cut-throat, under the bus throwing environment with everyone out for themselves; 5. Customers are not treated properly because unskilled reps are taking the calls.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    First of all, pay people what they are worth. Do not place people in managerial positions based on the degree of "brown-nosing" they engage in. Make career development and advancement one of the benefits of working for CES. Encourage communication among teams AND interdepartmentally to make sure everyone is on the same page. Make sure an employee can do the job SUCCESSFULLY before you PROMOTE them. Treat the customers with respect by providing them with excellent customer service. They are the "bread and butter" of the company after all. Last but not least, HR be prepared to receive ANOTHER resignation within the next 30 days and be ready to conduct a very informative exit interview.
