I worked at Concord Hospitality full-time (more than an year)Pros
Concord has excellent travel benefits. There is a matching 401 k and a better than average wage structure. If you work on the east coast or Midwest. I would recommend them.Cons
The property for which I worked did not seem very interested in embracing the culture promoted by Concord. So, I can only speak for my experience at a single property of the 90 or so that are owned and managed.
Work-life balance was way out of balance. There was very little support from the corporate side in terms of getting an answer. There was a great deal of maintaining the status quo but being disappointed come P&L time. There was an ambiguous on property reporting structure. There is massive interdepartmental strife.
The Team I met out in the corporate offices were some of the nicest folks I've met. I think there are some great ideas, but they are stretched too thin to actually support the company values at an isolated property such as the one I worked.Advice to ManagementAdvice
