Current Employee - Customer Support in Loveland, CO

I have been working at Constant Contact full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Benefits (though insurance just got insanely more expensive), stock options are nice, schedules are decent and consistent.

    Cons

Long commute because it's in the middle of nowhere no matter where you live, pay is not enough to survive on, AWFUL work/life balance, insane attendance policy for such a basic peon job, it's pretty impossible for a single parent to work here, ironic considering how woman-power the CEO is. There's also not a lot of room for advancement even if you are a top performer. Once you are a supervisor, you're pretty much done. There's nowhere to go from there, therefore making it pretty dead-end. It relies on micro-management. There's very little personalization throughout the company. They aim hard to retain their customers but do nothing to retain long time employments. It's not really that great of a place to work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Completely re-do the attendance policy, get rid of beer cart and the free soda and give raises instead, maybe even consider moving this office to some place easier to get to than the middle of nowhere off i25. I'd rather make enough money to actually afford to house myself than have a beer cart and free soda.
