I have been working at Container Store

    Pros

great products. some of the part time team is fantastic! Schedules are relativel flexible. Training is great and they communicate goals clearly.

    Cons

work can be sometimes physically demanding. the new schedule system means they own all of your time, even when you might not be int the store. We used to have a set schedule but now every week floats and sometimes a shift may only be 3 hours long. Managment spends all of their time going through emails and not enough time on the sales floor.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

put back the set schedule! the communication is great but sometimes too much is overload. Kip and Garret's hearts are in the right place but i think the new owners are only concerned with the bottom line.
