    I worked at Continental Guest Services full-time (More than 10 years)


    Interesting Work Place, Some Fun Perks-theatre tix, tour tickets, restaurant invites, learning more about what's happening in NYC, Multiply locations.


    No raises or incentive, no advancement, pay is below industry salary, they use a non-compete agreement that basically makes it nearly impossible to get a better position in this industry. Poor management, Long hours, zero appreciation, jobs requires sales and customer service, but no commission-none-ever. Limited affordable health care options. No paid holidays. The whole job requires you to sell over priced NYC tourist interests at outrageous prices. Management uses fear and scare tactics to control and manage the staff. Employees are not even allowed to go to other industry events to network.

    Advice to Management

    Treat your employees like human begins and show so appreciation for their hard work. Creative better incentives, reward outstanding customer services, sales and loyalty. Pay your employees a NYC livable wage or at least give them the opportunity to earn commission. Increase overall morale in the workplace.
