I have been working at Cooper Hotels full-time (More than 5 years)
Starting my hospitality career with Cooper Hotels has proven to be a wonderful opportunity. I was given opportunities to grow within my department and I have continued to excel with the company. In 5 years I was able to move from an entry level position and I am now a department head. Benefits are great. Cooper even considers your birthday a PAID holiday!
Lack of communication, however I feel that is present in many hotels and companies. High turn over rate as the starting pay rate makes it hard to keep good employees.
Advice to Management
Many employees love the company and the people they work with but are forced to leave because they need better pay. Improving the entry level pay will help ensure we get good employees who can afford to stay with the company.
