    Pros

    If you are a real go-getter with a Type A personality and a hunger for success, CoreLogic could be a great fit for you. Do not join CoreLogic if you’re looking for a place to hide until you retire. You will be cut. This is a fast-paced environment, with little to no fat, led by very capable leaders, who reward success. CoreLogic is a multi-faceted organization comprised of 6000+ employees across many disciplines, so if you feel the need to explore something new, there is always place to go.

    Cons

    Like any organization, there are some nuances to get used to; long approval processes, occasional wasteful meetings, etc. Nothing to sweat. What you’ll really want to know about is the Sales Team. If you take a look at the landscape of CoreLogic employees, it’s filled with doctorates, industry experts, and top-notch engineers. At face value it sounds like an unstoppable organization. Unfortunately, that pool of talent can only make an impression in the market when the sales arm of the organization takes the time learn the product and sell effectively. At this time it’s a painfully obvious weak point in the organization. Just imagine having firepower up the wazoo and no trigger finger.

    Advice to Management

    Maintain the hard-charging attitude…it’s getting us places. Also, take a step back from your busy day and take an honest look at the sales organization--we need to clean house. There is a cluster of unknowledgeable and abrasive sales managers that have had adequate time to prove themselves, and have failed. The fact that these sales personalities are still here makes me question if there is a personal motive within the SLT which is protecting them.
