The analyst were very friendly, open, bright, and willing to help out whenever I reached a roadblock. They recognize that the key to good consulting is high quality teaching and ongoing learning, and know how to work hard and play hard.
The company is not huge, so it can feel a little stifling if you are used to interacting with a lot of people on a daily basis. The workload can vary a lot, so this may not be the right place if you are looking for standard 9-5 hours.
Advice to Management
The nature of the work can be very academic, which is reflected by a somewhat professorial tone among the management. Though very fitting for the culture (many analysts leave and go directly into grad school and MBA programs), it can feel a bit patronizing at times. Even that complaint feels a bit petty though, the management was great and went out of their way to create opportunities for me.
