I have been working at CrankyApe.com full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The benefits are good. You can see lots of fun toys and may learn a lot about powersports/RVs/boats/classic and exotic cars. Some of the managers and other employees are pretty decent people.

    Cons

Terrible pay for an OTR driving position. 1 raise ($1 an hour) in the last 4 years. Management doesn't know how to efficiently run a company. Poor employee bonuses/incentives. $25 gift card for Christmas for employees who have been there for over 5 years. The company used to be extremely honest with how they represented the condition of units, but employees have been told to basically polish turds to make them look good, or try to hide flaws/damages.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Money management. Don't buy new trucks that cost 40 grand (GM) and have transmissions go out at 180,000 miles, when you can buy used trucks that are more fuel efficient, pull better, and are more dependable for half the price (Dodge+Cummins). Don't spend a couple hundred grand on an ugly custom chopper from Paul Jr. in a failed attempt to get more publicity.
