The company is relatively small, which means employees from across the globe know each other. Vacation is not tracked and at discretion between employee and manager. Company has seen consistent growth and a expanding customer base in the face of shrinking competition, implying job security.

New hires are mostly going towards managerial positions and the employees who fill them are not technical, despite being in technical leadership roles. Groups within the company (sales, service, etc.) rarely collaborate and work either independently or against each other. Service group is instructed to return a profit. Corporate culture follows Midwestern attitudes, despite being a large spread-out company. Example, salaries determined based on Midwestern standards and do not adjust for local cost of living. Too much justification of corporate cost cutting.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need cooperation and standard of operation across all units within company. Hire less inexperienced and unqualified managers and more well-paid engineers. Company values should reflect more on the quality of the product and service and less on corporate growth.
