A Connection to the Heart of the Industry

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee
    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Creative Artists Agency full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Working with CAA throws you straight into the heart of the entertainment industry. Since the industry is primarily people driven, so are your problems. So if you are an out of the box thinker, it may be a good company for you. There is no "quick fix" for anything, you have to be just as creative as the people you work with. Compensation could definitely be higher, but the perks that come with the job definitely help level that out.

    Cons

The job is constantly changing, and if you are in an entry level position there is not a lot of job security. Also, LONG HOURS. You are pretty much on call at all times. So work life balance is...not very balanced, to say the least. Also, a lot of people have a difficult time dealing with the high expectations and sharp deadlines. If you thrive under pressure it's not a big deal.
