I worked at Cultural Care Au Pair

    Pros

The lights work and the building is heated. We also get chairs to sit in. And there are bathrooms.

    Cons

As a new college grad, you may get excited to see a position posted for an Account Services, Placement or Operations Manager or even an LCC, but believe me you don't want these jobs. Those jobs get posted so frequently is because people leave in droves at all levels. It's not just "young people" either as someone wrote before. It's most people who work here (it gets to a point where you don't now who to ask questions of because you aren't sure who has left or not). This place is filled with horrible managers who speak insultingly to staff (I've seen people cry from encounters with certain managers who were really awful) and the upper level management is in another world who are oblivious to most things happening. They try to make you think everyone is one big family, but my manager never once asked me anything about my life. She had no idea if I was in a relationship or not, let alone what my significant other's name was. She would regularly misspell my name in emails to me and there was a general feeling that you are just a cog in the machine. When you quit, they will just bring in another worker bot who has no idea what they are getting into.

If you are looking at this considering a job with Cultural Care, I really hope you read this and take this advice seriously. It's not worth being in a place where you are miserable. People get out of here as soon as they can. I urge you to never enter. I really wish I had seen the bad reviews on here when I was applying and taken them seriously. I stupidly thought it would be different for me when I got there, but it wasn't. I was utterly miserable there every single day.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Whatever advice I give won't be taken. The management is narrow-minded and think they know how to do everything already. They are blind and ignore issues they don't want to deal with.
