    Very thorough onboarding process, including initial training and induction sessions, computer deployment, benefits explanation and enrollment, telephone access, and anything else needed to be able to perform the job.

    Very open and welcoming team members.

    Everybody has had only positive comments about the company and the work environment, and so far Cummins has lived up to those comments.

    The company values are very much in line with mine, and I can really feel how they are lived by every body every day.


    So far I have not been able to identify any specific ones. My onboarding has gone pretty smoothly. That is not to say that this is a perfect company. People acknowledge and I start to realize some of the challenges faced in current business. However, the company seems to have set a good environment for team members to look for solutions.

    Advice to Management

    Regarding the onboarding process, which is what I have been exposed so far, I know a number of Cummins employees that have been transferred from other locations, including other countries, and that have expressed that the onboarding would have been beneficial for them as well. In other words, these are Cummins employees, familiar with a number of things, but that still may use some help to go more easily about the specifics of a new location when they get there.
