I worked at DNV Kema Energy & Sustainability full-time (More than 3 years)
I crossed paths with some very talented and hard working people at (formerly KEMA) currently DNV GL. Great vacation and benefits package. The parent company (HQ in Europe) has excellent core values and sustainability practices. The American division unfortunately operates as an American company by under paying and undervaluing staff. Great resume builder if you are entry level with an exposure to some seasoned veterans in the industry.
Several mergers have left this organization in fragmented. If you are not part of the exclusive echelon of upper management it is difficult to advance. Hiring practices are concentrated on veteran industry professionals with expansive contact lists instead of developing dedicated talent from within. Mid and junior level positions are often understaffed, over worked, with little coaching from project managers. Salary increases do not meet national inflation rates.
Advice to Management
Consider integrity and accountability to be a developing characteristic of upper management. Discriminatory practices have been observed at this organization with lack of seriousness or repercussion acknowledged. 360 evaluations might be to the organizations benefit.
