I have been working at Dean & DeLuca part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Improving drink-making skills.
For the most part, nice, fun co-workers.
Get to see a lot of people.

    Cons

The pay raise system was unfair.
Preferred employees got a raise, while others did not (even if they worked just as hard.)
Some employees did not seem to respect upper management.
**This was all under one manager who Transferred, however**

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees. When they say they want to work more hours, let them work more than two days a week. When they tell you they get too overwhelmed by too many people coming in, and that we need more staff working, add an in-between shift. By making your employees happier, you will be, in turn, making them able to more properly take care of your customers, resulting in a better experience and higher chances of turning customers into regulars.
