    I can say that the benefits are good. And oh yeah, you get one free breakfast every week! LOL

    Cons

    Where should I begin! I guess I'll just tell you how this so-called company works.
    The customer calls in to our 1-800 number for security service with ADT. The sales person on the phone will say, thank you for calling ADT Protect Your Home. Now this is the very first number you will see when you Google for ADT alarm services. The common customer will not catch on that the "Protect Your Home" part is actually the name of the authorized dealers company name.so we were working for Defender Direct. However if you were a customer you knew us as Protect Your Home! If that is not screwing enough. 90% of the people who call in or just wanting a quote on what it would cost to have the services put into their house, obviously. The salesman on the phone will tell the customer that it will cost them $99 to have a technician sent out to install their alarm system.The customer says thanks but no thanks. So then the phone sales person says, I will give you $100 gift card from visa.then the phone sales person will give the potential customer free equipment on the phone.usually they give them extra motion sensors, which are ADT's most falsing sensor! They may give them more key five remotes, and maybe throw in some door/window sensors. So then once you (The sales technician\security adviser LOL) get to your appointment, the customer now has over $1000 worth of free equipment.at this point the customer thinks that their home will be 100% fully secured against theft.for free!so here's the trick. You will be made to sell at least $600 of equipment at each appointment.so after you check out the customers house and tell them that, in order to fully protect your house it will cost you $2000! At that point the customer will be at fuming mad. And more than likely will not want the system installed in the house, because he was lied to over the phone!now you are supposed to achieve certain quotas within this company. They are called matrixes.so if the customer cancels because of any reason, even if you've never even see the customer, and he canceled before you even get there, that cancellation just went against your matrix! Which was way out of your control. So once you drive two hours with your fully loaded vehicle full of equipment, and you get a cancellation, you will get paid zero dollars! you will be allied to do during every interview that you go through. The supervisors actually get paid to hire people. They hire more then enough technicians. Only some of them get jobs, The other ones will starve and end up quitting.like I said in the heading, trust me. I have been in sales for over eight years. Right now I am at a different company selling a different product.right now I am the number one salesman at my branch. So I am very good at what I do. I could not make this horrible company work for me. In fact, no one can!defender has branches all over the country. And they operate the exact same way that mine did. I can only hope that my post here will help as many people as it can. Good luck with your future careers! :-)

    Stop lying to the customers, your employees, and yourselves. I know that you know where the problems lie. It does not take a Genius to figure out what to change.
