I have been working at Denver Post full-time (more than 5 years)

Nice building, free coffee, some nice people. Used to be a warm, caring place but new management came in and ruined it.

Backbiting atmosphere, full of politically correct jerks who will rat you out in a heartbeat. Lots of butt-kissing types who get away with doing minimal work while the real workers get taken for granted and not appreciated.
Management will announce some big new mandatory initiative like "all reporters must blog and tweet and take video" and then half the reporters won't do any of that. But they won't suffer any consequences, because, well, that's just how life in a union shop works.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need much better editors and top management. Company spins in all directions and has no focus.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
