    Interesting policy areas and high profile work. Benefits of working in the public sector - holiday allowance, reasonable working hours etc. There are lots of training courses on offer but finding the time to do them can be hard.


    Not always clear what the departments role is and work seems to overlap with NHS England and Public Health England. Work is often frantic and being a very confident person is a necessity. Learning and development is offered but not prioritised.
