I have been working at Diagnostic Laboratories & Radiology full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

I don't have to commute to work because as soon as I get in my car I'm being paid.

    Cons

I've worked for the company for 6 years and am still waiting on a raise. They work you like a dog and treat you worse. On Call every 3rd weekend means 72 hours of non stop irritation and stress with ZERO relief. I have begged for help and very rarely am given any. The job is you in the car alone for 8-12 hours in traffic being told where to go and what to do with no consideration of your personal time. I am asked or told to work overtime every single day. They block off the winter/holiday months to any vacations because of "flu season." No exceptions. I haven't seen my family for christmas in 4 years. I have expressed to upper management how miserable EVERYBODY is and the response is "you all should be thankful to have a job."

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire A LOT more people! HUGE Raises to make up for the fact that you have never given any. Do away with all-weekend on call and hire a weekend staff. We work hard enough during the week. Treat your employees like human beings and not robots, we need breaks. Get over yourselves and give us raises before you give yourselves another one.
