    Benefits are fairly good. They allow business casual dress. You are able to make your own hours and your work area is is of ample size.


    Administration promises they take care of their Billing staff. You literally interview for hours, which basically turns into nothing more then an interrogation. Once hired, management avoids you. An Administrator makes negative innuendos toward staff, which make them feel belittled and unimportant. When you offer input, you are asked if this may not be the right job for you. You are basically threatened with your job when you show concern and interest in trying to improve any process. Management is not open to you informing them of billing issues or trends. Administrator constantly asks about the same inquiries with each monthly A/R Meeting but fails to do anything. When you ask about why management is failing to want to address Billing and A/R issues, they put a spin on it, trying to make it look like their really busy, or will try to make it look like the staff is lazy. It's a constant battle, and you realize early on that the administration is not what you thought he was. They make themselves look good with corporate, while at the same time, making the downfalls look like it is caused by staff. It is always the office management who would not back up staff or address issues brought to their attention. Poor quality Administration. This was the sole cause of the billing department to shut down.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hire administrators/management who listen to staff who work directly with Billing and A/R. Be open to concerns. If you listen, your staff can help you avoid issues and pitfalls. Dont belittle your staff. Utilize their talents and ability to help you improve the department instead of threatening them and making negative comments and threats to their jobs. Your staff can help resolve problems. Don't put your vanity first. Treat your staff with respect and not try to turn your mistakes and errors around and make it look like your staff, when it is your own fault.
