I worked at Digicon full-time for more than a year

    Pros

It is really hard to come up with any Pros for Digicon. Good Pay and Good Benefits come to mind, but when weighed against the constant uncertainty of your position at Digicon, can that really be considered a Pro?

    Cons

No Team Environment. There is absolutely No Room at all for advancement. The Management at Digicon really is Not qualified. I am serious they are really not qualified. From the management running the company, to the management running the contracts, Very Poor. The IT training portal they are using is old and outdated. You can get better material on YouTube.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Run your company and your contracts like you care. It was obvious that your only concern is the short term bottom line. On the company side, you have an extremely limited technical staff that is unable to put your cutting edge plans in place and yet you do not want to pay to get the proper staff that will be able to get the job done. On the contract site, the effort is short term profits alone and not concerned at all about staffing a project correctly so that the contract(s) will be successful and extended. How sad.

Digicon is supposed to be Employee Owned. Really? It is obviously only a tax shelter for the CEO and (former?) owner of the company. If it were truly employee owned there would be a real commitment to making sure the employees were priority one instead of merely an afterthought.

Thank You for showing me how Not to run an "Employee Owned" company.
