Exciting to work in a quality store with high end product serving customers who appreciate five star service. Most of the sales associates create great teams and are a delight to work with. Easy to make friends to work hard but keep it enjoyable.
Communication is bad and lack of resources is awful. Expect managers to work 50-60 hours a week without acknowledgement or appreciation and pile on an incredible amount of work so it feels as though you're always behind and never getting ahead. Will hold you personally accountable if not achieving unrealistic sales goals. Definite lack of support from corporate.
Advice to Management
Choose leadership that is organized, communicative and thrives in team building. If the ASM's and associates were treated well, it would create better morale and develop a loyalty that would help drive sales and a desire to be successful. This works better than a critical, fear of corporate driven model. While Dillard's profits, the ASM's struggle daily without the tools they need.
