Great company, especially if you have a good boss.

I worked at Disney ABC Television full-time

    Pros

Promote from within culture - especially at lower levels. Creates a lot of opportunity for early-career stage employees who may want to try out different functions
Management provides good industry insight for employees, more at higher levels
Great brands - easy to represent in the marketplace
There was, and may still be, a pension benefit

    Cons

    Political work environment
Hard to secure outside training/education resources
Pay low for low-level jobs (compared to industry)
    Promotion structure murky

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's a confusing message to hear the positive wall street reports then witness the ongoing lay-offs. Creates fear in the workplace.
