    Pros

DHG Jacksonville does a wonderful job focusing on making you both effective and efficient. This office in particularly truly focuses on an "flex-schedule" where you are not required to be in at a pre-determined time aside from client obligations. This allows employees to work when they can be the most effective, which has resulted in great gains in productivity and employee morale for the office. Additionally, the entire firm has a surprisingly effective suite of software and IT professionals available to the employees at all times in order to minimize down time; helping employees get their work done faster so they can have a life outside of work. This office also has a very good culture with interoffice weight loss challenges, summer athletic leagues and a variety of stress-relief events during busy season.

    Cons

The technology available to employees can be both a blessing and a curse. It allows employees to be "online" at home which can sometimes, unintentionally lead to an expectation to be online, and responsive, even at night. The client base for the firm is almost exclusively non-public clients or which seems to lead to the perception that the employees are less prepared to work on larger, more complicated clients. This also leads to less public audit training, specifically for the audit field as it is not as large of a priority as with Big 4 firms.
