I have been working at Dow AgroSciences as a contractor (more than an year)

Good pay (even as contractor), corporate experience, better than average resources

DAS is coming off a 3+ year spending to increase productivity and now is being held to the fire by DOW Chemical (parent company) to increase profits, which come by two ways; cutting projects and laying off people and making hay on promised projects. No (or very little) new hires are happening. The corporate environment is still strong in resources, but is waning. Contractors are still needed to keep the the company moving forward, but are seen as second class citizens.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be a little less conservative and continue to explore technology as it exists. Consider valuable contractors as temp to hire and not temp to terminate.

    Positive Outlook
