Dril-quip reminded me of Peyton Place.

I worked at Dril-Quip full-time (more than an year)

Location was convenient. Benefits were decent.

The mandatory overtime was unnecessary, little or no appreciation shown when employee does job, shows up on time all the time and doesn't take unnecessary time off, regimented short lunch time and high school-like mentality prevalent from the shop floor to the administration building. Mid-year review was late then raise was a joke though all objectives were met or exceeded. Long walk from parking lot to facility in inclement weather.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay more per hour and require fewer hours would improve morale.
