I have been working at Driscoll’s full-time (more than 10 years)

Good compensation and profit share, given the region HQ is in. Great CEO, great profitable business model, great results. Idea of mission and values is good. Could be a great place again. Ag/food industry is constant and stable, company has doubled every 5 years for past 15+ years. 90% of people are extremely great to work with and share common goals.

Middle management is disconnected from CEO vision. A lot of incompetence slips through the cracks and the burden gets put on the competent workers to do more than their fair share. This has also led to diminishing importance of mission and values in day to day operation as good people grt stepped on all the time. Growing pains is an understatement. Growth opportunities are somehow fewer despite rapid growth of the company. Some depts such as IT have outsourced jobs overseas and others have a revolving door of temps or contractors.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't forget what Driscoll's was and get it back to that. Ensure new employees/managers share the same values that all employees used to posess, otherwise that great culture we once had will be lost. New blood and ideas are good, but what was once a big family is no more since we have hired many people who don't follow the values.

    Positive Outlook
