Tampa office is a very nice facility. Pay rate is average to good depending on position. Benefits are good, and they pay a yearly bonus. Work is very interesting and challenging. Job security is good.

Tampa office is filled with many of the "dead wood" sent from the New York office when the Tampa facility opened in 2005. There is a big disconnect between Tampa and New York office, and New York office treats Tampa as a "remote outpost" since Tampa is not in the privileged financial district of Wall Street as DTCC New York is. Senior management "plays dumb" and say one thing, then do another. Morale is low and you can tell nobody trust anybody. Awful place to go to work day to day.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

DTCC as a corporation needs new management and a massive shakeup to inject new blood, get rid of the old "Wall Street" management, and stop the silliness that goes on between Tampa and New York.
