    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at DuPont Pioneer as a contractor (More than a year)

Very experienced business units that are very accommodating when gathering requirements. SCRUM on most projects. Small teams 7- 10 people. Interesting projects to work on. IT Management is very hands off.

There is not a lot of loyalty here. Dupont has come in and taken over management of the IT department. I started with 6 Business Analysts on my team, and they fired all but me in the first 3 months due to budget constraints. I feel that the developers could be managed better. There is A LOT of collaboration in my area, that is normally counter productive. When the business stands firm on an issue they do everything they can to make it difficult. UI team. There is none. Developers and BAs are expected to come up with designs. Problem is no one has professional UI design background.

    Advice to Management

You need a UX designer on staff for each project. They need to design the mock-ups to keep things consistent. Teams that are not efficient need to be broken up.
