I have been working at Dunbar Armored full-time (more than a year)

It's a job. The pay is weekly instead of bi-weekly like most companies, and some of the people are nice.

-This company has low pay for the duties and responsibilities expected of an employee, this seems to run the gamut from the unskilled labor positions all the way up through corporate management.

-Certain policies, such as the dress code are enforced in a very biased manner. In the main office women more or less get away with whatever while men are required to wear business slacks, dress shoes, a button down shirt, and a tie year round. Facial hair is also prohibited, except mustaches.

-Healthcare and retirement benefits are mediocre at best, especially health plans which have gotten worse and worse year after year. Plans get more expensive and offer less.

-Upward mobility is also a pipe dream at this business as it's very much an "old boy's club", there is also very little opportunity for training outside of one's designated position further increasing the difficulty of getting a better position or taking your skillset elsewhere.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's time to get with the current century and realize that 20 and 30 somethings don't come to your business because it is a great opportunity with a family owned business, they're coming because there was a open position and no better options.
